Carolyn Fanning [E-mail]

Carolyn Fanning, CPA, is the president and founder of Planned Giving Solutions, Inc., and the part-time Director of Planned Giving at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Her articles related to estate planning have appeared in publications such as The Michigan CPA, Planned Giving Today, Successful Estate Planning Ideas and Methods, and The Tax Savings Reporter. Prior to founding her own consulting firm, Carolyn was the Director of Gift and Estate Planning at Hillsdale College (1991-1999) and a senior staff accountant with Ernst & Whinney in their Boston and Chicago offices (1986-1989). She received her BBA (accounting) and MBA (marketing) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Carolyn lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, Michael, and young son.
