Frank Chodorov
ISI Founder & President (1955-1962)
Following
a career in academia, Frank Chodorov founded analysis, a
monthly four-page journal that at first published only his own personal
reflections on perennial concerns. His exposure through analysis
gained him an editorial position at Human Events. In these
two publications, Chodorov wrote of his vision to restore the American
academy and laid the groundwork for the founding of ISI. A mentor
to William F. Buckley, Chodorov was also a frequent contributor
to National Review until his death in 1962.
