Lectures/Conferences
Throughout the academic year, ISI sponsors or co-sponsors
more than 300 educational events across the country. These
programs examine popular topics, such as affirmative action
and core curriculum controversies, as well as enduring concerns,
such as the nature of freedom and the best forms of government.

Choosing the Right
College
Since 1998, concerned parents and students have been turning
to ISI’s Choosing the Right College: The Whole Truth about America’s Top
Schools for in-depth analysis of colleges and universities.
Unlike other college guides that simply pass along the administration's
vision of their institution, the ISI guide takes a hard, frank
look at today's campuses. To learn more, visit www.collegeguide.org.
ISI Books
Each year the Institute publishes numerous titles under the imprint
of ISI Books. Among these publications are original titles,
classic reprints, and collections of writings by leading authorities
in the humanities and social sciences. ISI Books explores
the intellectual roots underlying the urgent political, economic,
and social issues of the day. To learn more, visit www.isibooks.org.
Membership
Today, more than 50,000 students and faculty take full advantage
of ISI’s educational resources through the Institute’s
Membership Program. ISI offers a complimentary subscription
to the Intercollegiate
Review: A Journal of Scholarship and Opinion. In addition, members receive invitations
and unique opportunities from the Institute. Learn

Honors Program
Annually ISI selects several dozen of its brightest and best
undergraduate students to participate in a yearlong program
of educational enrichment. Honors Fellows attend a summer
weeklong retreat, obtain guidance in academic and career planning
through a faculty mentor and a career development conference,
and receive a collection of books from the Institute. Learn

Fellowships Program
Since 1964, ISI has awarded more than 500 fellowships to graduate
students preparing to teach at the college level. The program
assists future teachers who are motivated by the need to integrate
the idea of liberal education with their teaching efforts.
Through support of these educators, ISI aims to restore the
university to its original purpose and status. Learn

Online Education in Liberty
To better direct students and faculty to the wealth of ISI
resources, the Institute has created the Online Education
in Liberty, a collection of materials and programs organized
around five traditional ISI themes. Under each theme are online
lectures, announcements of related conferences and online
discussions, links to other non-ISI resources, and selected
ISI Books titles. Learn
more.
Collegiate Network
ISI administers a network of nearly 80 independent student
newspapers at colleges across the country. Member papers of
the Collegiate Network are eligible to receive technical and
financial assistance as well as training opportunities through
dedicated conferences and internships at national publications.
