Many CN alumni have gone on to brilliant success. Rich Lowry, the editor of National Review, is the former editor of the Virginia Advocate. Best-selling author Dinesh D'Souza is the former editor of the Dartmouth Review. CNN correspondent Jonathan Karl, is a former staff member of the Vassar Spectator. Author and conservative pundit Ann Coulter is a former editor of the Cornell Review. CN alumni also work for national news organizations, publishing houses, and conservative non-profit organizations. They write for local and national newspapers, conservative and mainstream journals, and as freelance authors.
It is not uncommon for CN alumni to collaborate on projects years after graduating college or to find themselves working alongside one another in the media or publishing world. For example, National Political Reporter for the National Review, and former editor of the Michigan Review, John J. Miller, works under editor and CN alumnus Rich Lowry, and wrote his book, Our Oldest Enemy: A History of America's Disastrous Relationship with France, with CN alumnus Mark Molesky.
The Collegiate Network invites its alumni to update contact information and job status by emailing the CN at cn@isi.org or by calling (302) 652-4600. Each July, the Collegiate Network holds an Alumni & Friends Reception in Washington, D.C. All CN alumni are welcome. Contact the CN for details about this year's reception.
