A national program of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund
ISI is committed to helping professors and students understand the issues that law enforcement officers must confront. These men and women, who protect our lives and liberties, encounter daily dangers and difficulties that are inadequately understood on our nation's campuses.
ISI offers professors and students in criminal justice and law enforcement, at no charge, a variety of programs and materials that explore these issues. Building on more than fifty years of "educating for liberty," and thanks to the generous support of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, ISI provides support for lectures, a library of outstanding volumes, opportunities to participate in ISI's conference and honors program, as well as online resources. Faculty members and students who contact ISI, will receive without charge:
- A free subscription to The Intercollegiate Review
- Announcements of upcoming lectures and conferences
- Special offers and discounts on ISI books and publications
- The educational resources you need to obtain the intellectual foundation for a successful and meaningful life.
ISI's national campus presence and integrated program of lectures, conferences, publications, and fellowships reaches thousands of students and professors each year. ISI identifies the best and brightest college students and nurtures in these future leaders the American ideal of ordered liberty. Now you can have an opportunity to join this community of students and scholars for free.
Lectures
You can host or attend lectures by prominent speakers from around the country. Lectures are an opportunity to introduce important topics relating to law enforcement and criminal justice to a broader public audience. Such events serve to enhance and enrich the educational impact of your message. Recent law enforcement lectures:
Conferences
As a student or faculty member you will have the opportunity to attend ISI regional and national conferences. These events encourage networking and allow attendees to learn from others who want to better understand our constitutional system.
Undergraduate Scholars in Law Enforcement
This prestigious ISI program pairs students with some of America's best professors for a week of learning and fellowship in Oxford, England. ISI selects a small number of the most talented undergraduates to participate in this summer retreat, which is followed by a year of faculty mentoring, online discussions with other fellows and faculty mentors, free ISI books and publications, and access to future ISI-sponsored and co-sponsored conferences.
