C A M P U S R E P R E S E N T A T I V E ISI Campus Representatives form the foundation
of our national collegiate presence. ISI volunteers are highly motivated
students concerned about recent developments in the American academy.
These students are particularly dedicated to furthering ISI’s
mission actively on campus. As an ISI Campus Representative, you'll have
many leadership and networking opportunities.
Campus Representatives introduce ISI to students and
faculty by:
- Organizing an ISI Group or affiliating an already
existing group with ISI.
- Promoting ISI publications and programs, particularly
The
Intercollegiate Review, ISI
Student’s Guides to the Major Disciplines, and
information about ISI’s graduate and undergraduate Fellowships.
- Organizing reading or discussion groups, often
with free materials provided by ISI.
- Encouraging other students to get involved with
ISI.
- Publicizing ISI by writing articles and letters
to the editor in campus newspapers.
- Arranging ISI lectures, seminars, and debates on
your campus, often with ISI financial assistance.
ISI Campus Representatives are in regular contact with ISI
staff and are provided regular updates, free books, and invitations
to regional and national conferences.
To become a Campus Representative, contact the Director
for Membership and Campus Leadership at (800) 526-7022, email members@isi.org, or print, complete, and return the online form.
