Western Civilization, Our Philosophical and Moral Tradition

The American Founders understood the frailty of human nature, a perspective necessary for securing ordered liberty and domestic tranquility. ISI has a commitment to sharing with students and faculty the inherited tradition of Western Civilization that informed the Founders.

This section of the ISI Online Education in Liberty will provide opportunities for reflection upon the ancient, medieval, and early modern sources of Western Civilization - and contemporary challenges to these time-tested truths.
